Life Lessons

Life has a funny way of sneaking up on us and giving us lessons when we least expect it. Sometimes we take things and people for granted: our work, our friends, our relationships, our financial situation… we bask in the softness and cosiness of our comfort zone and we unconsciously stop ourselves from reaching our potential and following our purpose. The truth is that the biggest opportunities are disguised in loss, pain, sadness and sometimes even anger. So if you’ve recently lost your job or just broke up with your long term partner/boyfriend/wife or you’re even suffering from a financial crisis this might actually be a blessing in disguise.
You will at first be overwhelmed with emotions that will blur your vision so do externalize them because they’re a natural part of the process and don’t bury them or allow them to take over your life. Stop, look at your situation and think: what could be the blessing in disguise? What is the upside of being single? What is another way of looking at financial scarcity? How can you live in more abundance?
The truth is that you have the power to turn your life around. Don’t waste your energy on “what if’s” and “maybe’s”. What’s done is done, there’s no turning back. So there’s really no room for criticism or blame, they’re just wasted energy. You are now in the present, the past is long gone and you have the power to choose your future.
So focus on what it is that you can positively impact and change. When you’re living your life purpose you’re opening yourself up to all sorts of possibilities and you’re allowing yourself to grow and blossom into who you need to become for the next stage of your life.
A new chapter might include new characters, a new setting, a different climate and definitely a new outcome but always the same essence: YOU!

I am usually suspicious and don't trust people easily but I was amazed by how quickly Rawan succeeded in establishing a comfortable and reliable relationship with me.
